Helena Grimme has been the new managing director since April 1st. They are already expecting new tasks. All job centers are currently facing a major challenge.
Moelln.Since the founding date on January 1st, 2005, Ulrich Elsweier was the managing director of the Jobcenter Herzogtum Lauenburg, before he retired on March 31st of this year. His successor is Helena Grimme, who was replaced by District Administrator Dr. Christoph Mager and Kathleen Wieczorek, head of the Bad Oldesloe employment agency, were welcomed for the first time to the sponsors’ meeting – the job center’s supervisory body.
“As a co-sponsor of the job center, I am pleased that an experienced managing director is succeeded by a managing director who is also already familiar with management tasks, Helena Grimme. She brings with her a lot of practical experience and extensive specialist knowledge in the broad range of tasks of a job center,” says Wieczorek. “Under her management, I see the job center well positioned for current and new tasks and challenges.” Mager adds for the Duchy of Lauenburg district as the second sponsor: “In Ms. Grimme, the Duchy of Lauenburg job center has found an experienced leader who has already familiarized herself with the municipal structures and regional characteristics prior to her application. The traditionally close cooperation between the administration and the job center will make it easier for her to get started.” Both wish Grimme every success in their new role.
