The emergency services intervened on an accident with unusual circumstances, the night behind, in Melsele, in the municipality of Beveren. As Het Laatste Nieuws explains, a car did indeed hit concrete blocks head-on and ended up on its roof. Nothing special so far.
But once there, the firefighters noted with astonishment that the driver, who had to be extricated, was… completely naked. Seriously injured, he was taken to hospital.
According to the emergency services, there was probably a second person in the vehicle at the time of the crash, but she managed to flee.
