There are news that the iPhone 14 series that are waiting to be launched this year will have a total of 4 models, including the iPhone 14, iPhon 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. This year, there will be a clearer product division. The Pro model will use the new Apple A16 Bionic chip, while the regular model will use the older Apple A15 Bionic chip.
There is new information from @ShrimpApplePro states that the new Apple A16 Bionic will be built by TSMC, but instead of 4nm technology, the Apple A16 Bionic will continue to be built with 5nm technology.
As for the Apple A16 Bionic overview, it won’t be that different from the Apple A15 Bionic. @ShrimpApplePro says that the Apple A16 Bionic will only have slightly better CPU, GPU and LPDDR5 processing.
It’s unclear why lately the Apple A-side chipset of the iPhone hasn’t looked too noticeable. Two things can be assumed: First, the chip development team went to the Apple M series, which is used in all Macs. Second, the chip development team may partly wave goodbye to Apple.
