Watch what Saudi filmmakers published about the Cannes Film Festival

A number of Saudi directors interacted with the Cannes Film Festival, which is being held in its 75th session between May 17 and 28.
Through their Twitter pages, the directors expressed their feelings regarding the festival. They also talked regarding the participating Saudi pavilion, and revealed what they gained by touring the corridors of “Cannes”.
Director Bader Al-Hamoud published a tweet via the Blue Bird, in which he spoke regarding the festival’s leadership and the huge attendance there, revealing that they used the event to introduce Saudi cinema.

Meanwhile, Saad Tatah, a filmmaker, expressed his happiness with the participation of the Saudi film “Immortalization” in the international event, as it was shown in the short films corner as part of its activities, thanking the Ministry of Culture for everything it offers them.

Meanwhile, Al-Muhannad Al-Kadam, a director, published a picture of the Saudi pavilion in Cannes, and asked, in another tweet, why the Saudis attended the festival, revealing his happiness to participate in its activities.

Raneem Al Mohandes, director, gained wide response following her movie “Swinging” was shown in the short film corner.
