Jurgen Klopp, coach of the English football team, Liverpool, considered Real Madrid the most prominent candidate to win the final match of the European Champions League, which will bring the two teams together, on Saturday.
The Real Madrid team is in the fifth game in the last nine seasons, following it managed to reverse its delay in its matches in the previous three playoffs.
When asked who he considers the most prominent candidate to win the match, Klopp said: “If you look at the history of the two clubs and the way Real celebrated their return in the result, I would say they are the candidates.”
He added, “It’s because of experience. I want us to be at the same level in such things. I want us to play our way in this match.”
And he added, “If we are at our best, it will be difficult to face us. My main goal is to play our way and be confident in ourselves.”
Klopp was speaking at a news conference at the Stade de France on the eve of the final.
