Over the course of six weeks during which the case of American actor Johnny Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard attracted the attention of millions around the world, the trial ends on Friday, while the closing arguments of the two parties begin.
The jury is scheduled to begin deliberations today.
Johnny Depp’s crisis began when he accused his ex-wife, Amber Heard (with whom he was engaged from 2015 to 2017,) of abusing and beating her, as Heard published an article in 2020 in the Washington Post, in which she said that he was abusing her.. Depp decided to sue Heard over her article, which caused a sensation, accusing her of defamation, a case that is taking place in California courts now..
