The Witcher 4 has entered pre-production

The Witcher 4 (without an official name) has officially completed its research phase and entered pre-production.

confirmed in Project CD red blog postThe studio looked back at the first quarter of 2022 and this time completed its search for the new Witcher game.

The developer added a few more details in the update video (below) and said that Red CD project manager Pyotr Nilupovich Game is now in pre-production.

“We look forward to reviewing the universe that has shaped our history to such an extent,” President Adam Kissinsky said in a statement. “We recently completed the research phase for the first game of the new Witcher Saga, which means that more development costs will be invested in our balance sheet.”

The recent entry into pre-production means that a new Witcher game is still a long way off, which explains why CD Project Red only revealed it with a teaser.

However, the Medallion-focused mini-game still generated countless fan theories, leading some to believe The Witcher 3: Wild Hunts Siri would be the protagonist of the new game.

The CD project later confirmed that the movie was a Lynx movie, but there is still debate as to whether this is the new Witcher school.

We didn’t know much regarding the game, except that the CD project was co-created with Red Epic Games on Unreal Engine 5 and its director confirmed there was no crisis in his watch.
