British media gives Son Heung-min a season rating of 10 out of 10… “I had the best season”

Heung-Min Son (Tottenham), who took the top scorer in the English Premier League (EPL), received rave reviews from British media.

On the 26th (local time), Football London, a British soccer media, gave a rating for the 2021-22 season for the Tottenham squad. Son Heung-min was the only Tottenham player to score 10 points and received the highest rating.

The media said, “Heung-Min Son has made a huge contribution to Tottenham. He always did his part when the team needed him. Heung-Min Son had the best season since joining Tottenham, winning the co-scorer award and setting a new joint goal record with Harry Kane.”

He continued, “Even when Son Heung-min was stagnant for a while, he devoted himself to the team. Since December of last year, there have been only 7 matches without Son’s attacking points.”

Son Heung-min showed off his skills this season. In 35 league appearances, he recorded 23 goals and 7 assists, and was tied for the top scorer with Mohamed Salah (Liverpool).

In addition, Son Heung-min led the attack when the competition for rankings at the end of the season was fierce, and made a significant contribution to Tottenham’s 4th place. Heung-Min Son’s performance helped Tottenham Hotspur rank 4th and secured a place in the UEFA Champions League for the first time in three years.

Rodrigo Bentancourt and Dejan Klusevsky, who joined Tottenham during the winter transfer window, followed Heung-Min Son with a score of 9. The two joined Tottenham in the middle of the season and then quickly melted into the team, helping Tottenham take fourth place.

Heung-Min Son’s best friend Kane, Eric Dier, who took the center of defense, and Christian Romero received 8.5 points.

Football London gave coach Antonio Conte a rating of 9.5 following finishing the season in fourth place by taking over the baton of Tottenham, who were ninth in the league in November last year.
