“Thanks to the intelligence work of the Cicpc for 4 months and 20 days, in an impeccable operation, we have rescued the citizen of Barin, Frányely Guerrero, who is safe with her relatives.” This was reported on Thursday, May 19, by Remigio Ceballos, Minister of Internal Affairs, Justice and Peace.

“Today, in coordination with all citizen security agencies, following 140 days of investigating the crime, for the crime of kidnapping, the 23-year-old citizen Frányely Guerrero was rescued,” he wrote when sharing two videos in which the young woman is seen accompanied by a group of officials.

“I’m fine. Thank you all, thank you all for her prayers,” Guerrero said, visibly moved.

Likewise, following the news, an emotional video began to circulate on social networks in which Guerrero’s reunion with his loved ones is observed.

Bailing out

The next day the moment of the rescue was disclosed. In the images, officials are seen entering a room in which another woman, presumably one of the captors, is observed, visibly confused.

Meanwhile, an official shouts “he’s here”, apparently alluding to the keys of the handcuffs with which they kept the victim tied, as other agents ask for those keys to free her.

Subsequently, several agents are seen in a small space, which appears to have been a closet. There they kept Frányely Guerrero handcuffed, who appears distressed, while the officials try to calm her down.
