Ahmed Abu Abla, Al-Ahly’s team doctor, revealed the position of the team’s player, Mohamed Abdel Moneim, from participating in the Moroccan Wydad Casablanca match.
Abdel Moneim was injured in the adductor muscle, but the medical staff is trying to catch the player in the match next Monday.
Abu Abla said, in statements on the official Al-Ahly club website, that Abdel Moneim has not yet recovered from the injury, as he continues his rehabilitation program in Morocco to get rid of the injury.
Abu Abla explained that Abdel Moneim’s match with the Moroccan Wydad match will be determined within the next 48 hours.
In another context, Abu Abla talked regarding the condition of the player Badr Banoun and his position on returning to training during the coming period.
The Al-Ahly doctor indicated that there is progress in the program that Bannon is running, as he is scheduled to return to group training according to the date set for him in advance.
And it was the South African Pitso Mosimane, coach of Al-Ahly club, decided to join Badr Banoon in the team’s list, which left for Morocco, despite not participating in the final match.
Al-Ahly’s mission arrived in Morocco yesterday evening, Wednesday, to face Wydad in the final of the African Champions League (2022).
The final match is scheduled to take place at the “Mohammed V Sports Complex” in Casablanca, next Monday evening, at nine o’clock Cairo time.
