The famous actress made Amber Heardwho participated in the movie (Aquaman), on Thursday testified once more in legal battle With her ex-husband Johnny Depp She told jurors that she had been subjected to daily harassment and death threats since Depp was accused of abusing her.
Heard returned to the testimonial stand at the request of the lawyers representing her before the final arguments in the case on Friday.
Heard said in tears that she had been “harassed, insulted and threatened every day” since the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star Depp was accused of physical and sexual abuse.
“People want to kill me and they tell me that every day… they want to (burn) my baby in the microwave,” said Heard, who adopted a baby girl in July 2021.
Depp, 58, is suing Heard for $50 million, saying she tarnished his reputation when she described herself as a “public figure who suffers from domestic violence.”
Heard also filed a $100 million counterclaim, saying Depp also distorted her reputation when his lawyer said the charges were “fake.”
“Johnny has spoken enough on my behalf…I have the right to tell my own story,” Heard told the jurors.
Depp denied hitting Heard or any other woman and said it was she who carried out the violence once morest him.
“No human being is perfect,” Depp said on Wednesday. “But I have never in my life committed sexual harassment or any physical assault.”
The case will be in the hands of the jury following both sides present their final arguments on Friday.
