Singer Joya Marleen and singer Kunz are the big winners of the Swiss Music Awards (SMA) 2022 which were held on Wednesday evening in Zug. Danitsa from Geneva has been named the best artist in French-speaking Switzerland.
The public had until May 1 to decide between Beatrice Egli, Joya Marleen and Loredana for the title of best singer. That of best singer brought together Eaz, Kunz and ZIAN.
In the Best Act Romandie category were the duo Baron.e from Fribourg, Danitsa and the Swiss-Algerian singer-songwriter Flèche Love. Danitsa is rewarded for the second time, the organizers said Wednesday evening in a press release.

The Swiss music industry is behind the Swiss Music Awards. This TV show, broadcast on channel 3+, is an opportunity to distinguish new talents and successful artists in twelve categories.
The Swiss Music Awards are different from the Swiss Music Prize. The latter is awarded each year by the Federal Office of Culture, and rewards all musical creation in Switzerland.
