Mohamed Salah (Liverpool), who won the English Premier League (EPL) co-scorer with Son Heung-min (Tottenham), congratulated Heung-Min Son.

On the 26th (Korean time), Salah retweeted the video of Son Heung-min arriving at Incheon International Airport holding the trophy ‘Golden Boot’ through SNS on the 26th (Korean time) and wrote, ‘Congratulations, Sonny!’

Salah had an overwhelming scoring streak in the first half of the season. He seemed to have booked the solo scorer king early. However, as his physical strength deteriorated due to the continued forced march, his scoring pace in the second half was sharply broken. In the meantime, Son Heung-min, who pursued a frightening pursuit, caught up with him in the final game of the league, and in the end, he had to be satisfied with the co-scorer with 23 goals.

Born in 1992, this is his third Golden Boot award, and he became the first top scorer in the 2017-18 season with 32 goals, the most in EPL history. In the following season, he was tied for the top scorer with 22 goals.

In the 2019-20 season, he was ranked 5th in the scoring rankings with 19 goals, but in the 2020-21 season he scored 22 goals, moving up to second place. During his five seasons with Liverpool, he recorded 118 goals and 52 assists, making him the best striker in the world.

As Salah was clearly responsible for scoring in the front line, Liverpool won the 2019-20 EPL season, the 2018-19 European Football Confederation Champions League (UCL) championship, the 2021-22 season FA Cup, and the League Cup. The era of success opened wide.
