Johnny Depp takes the stand once more
Johnny Depp is back on the stand. The actor testified that he did not see his attorney Adam Waldman’s statements regarding Amber Heard in the Daily Mail until his ex-wife filed her libel countersuit once morest him. Waldman told the publication that Heard had invented his accusations of abuse once morest Depp.
Depp pointed out that Waldman’s statements, which are at the heart of Heard’s counterclaim, “seemed like a lot of word salad to me.” Also, the actor stated that spoke to “three top executives” at Warner Bros. to help Amber Heard land her role in 2018’s “Aquaman.”
“I can only say that he finally got the job in the movie…so I guess I curbed his worries to some extent.” Depp said.
Regarding Amber Heard’s testimony in which the actress stated that Depp took eight to 10 MDMA pills at the same time, Johnny pointed out that it was false: “No, I haven’t…because I’d be dead.”
