Son Heung-min to launch a personal brand… What is the identity of the airport fashion ‘NOS7’ logo?

[이데일리 김민정 기자] Heung-min Son (Tottenham), who became the first Asian player to become the top scorer in the English Premier League (EPL) for the first time in history, is paying attention to the white T-shirt he is wearing while returning home from Incheon International Airport on the 24th.

On this day, Son Heung-min wore a white T-shirt with the logo ‘NOS7’ on his left chest.

In response, netizens speculated that Son Heung-min was ahead of the launch of his personal brand, saying that ‘NOS’ is the inverted ‘SON’ of Son’s surname and the number ‘7’ is his jersey number.

As a result of checking the patent information search service (Cyprice) of the Korean Intellectual Property Office, ‘NOS7’ has applied for 15 trademarks, including clothing, shoes, and hats, on January 5. All applicants are ‘Heung-Min Son’.

‘NOS7’ marks June 17th as the official brand launch date. Also, on the Instagram homepage, the meaning of ‘NOS’ is interpreted as ‘Nothing, Ordinary Sunday’ (there is no ordinary Sunday). However, no products are currently being uploaded to the ‘NOS7’ site.

Heung-Min Son also applied for the trademark ‘INFEELD’ in addition to ‘NOS7’. ‘INFEELD’ is a trademark for ‘food/hotel business’ and ‘beer/drink’.

If Son Heung-min launches the brand as expected, he will go into business like his idol Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United). Ronaldo is offering a variety of products such as shoes, accessories, underwear, perfume, and hotels through the ‘CR7’ brand named following his name and jersey number.

On the other hand, Son Heung-min is said to be taking a break until 30 days before the national team is convened for the 4 A matches to be held in Korea in June.

Son Heung-min’s representative said, “Since the A-match will be held one following another in June, we will focus only on rest to recover our stamina.”
