The consortium recognizes the richness and diversity of the local economy. Steps will be taken to transform the region into inclusive and sustainable growth. The economic interests of the countries here are interconnected. More economic cooperation is needed to achieve peace, prosperity and growth.
There will be further discussions on trade, supply chain, energy at low prices, policies on carbon emissions and infrastructure. The group also includes Brunei, Indonesia, South Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
