In the past month or two, I have received good news from several friends that they are regarding to become mothers! When you are pregnant for the first time, you are inevitably excited and nervous, hoping to give the best to the baby in your belly.
Diet diversity for moms is very important. I have met many mothers who blame themselves for not eating properly during pregnancy following their baby has eczema. Please rest assured that the baby’s food allergy is not related to the mother’s diet during pregnancy, and you should not quit during pregnancy because you are worried regarding whether the baby will have food allergies in the future.
In fact, when the baby is still in the womb, the amniotic fluid has been exposed to the smell and taste of the food eaten by the mother, so the mother eats, which can help the baby to be more exposed to various foods and help prevent picky eating following birth. Mom’s diet can be calculated for a week, divided into three parts: vegetables and fruits, protein and grains. There must be five kinds of fruits and vegetables every week. In addition to the green leafy vegetables we often eat, there are also eggplant, tomato, pumpkin, three-color pepper, mushrooms, etc. There are also several choices of fruits every week. In addition to meat, we should also eat a variety of fish and seafood. , eggs, tofu and soy products; in addition to rice, also eat more whole grains such as quinoa, brown rice, and oats. In addition, you can also drink milk, calcium-fortified soy milk or other plant milk, and eat unsalted nuts, chestnuts, etc.
On top of that, emotions are especially important during pregnancy. Many expectant mothers know that 400 micrograms of folic acid needs to be supplemented every day before and during pregnancy. In addition to nutritional supplements, green leafy vegetables, dried beans, folic acid-added cereals, and whole-wheat bread also contain natural folic acid, which can prevent infant brain damage. In addition to tube defects, it also helps relieve stress during pregnancy. Eating one-and-a-half to two bowls of vegetables a day can also help improve constipation common during pregnancy. Please appreciate yourself more, enjoy the feeling of being pregnant and expecting your baby to be born, try your best to eat and exercise healthy for your baby, you are a 100% mother!
