Police first noticed a cyclist driving at a brisk pace in the Theater district, Antwerp, while constantly looking at his mobile phone. After which he made contact with someone who was waiting for him. The police then carried out a check and discovered a transaction involving drugs. The cyclist had money, cannabis, cocaine and ecstasy pills in his pocket. Caught in the act, the dealer tried to escape the arrest by force, but without success. Three officers were slightly injured in the incident. Since then, the 18-year-old has been released on conditions by the investigating judge.
In Dageraad Square, the police caught a 19-year-old man for possession of drugs. He was accompanied by his 17-year-old brother. The latter caused a stir and injured two law enforcement officers. The 19-year-old boy was brought before the investigating judge and the minor before the juvenile judge.
