This comic explains how many men manage to avoid household chores


The French cartoonist known as Emma, ​​who shed light on the famous concept of the mental task in 2017 with a comic that had gone viral, is doing it once more with a series of drawings on how men avoid certain household chores and their sometimes unconscious strategies.

According to the most recent statistics, women still take care of 70% of parental and domestic tasks. The cartoonist, who has been discreet for a while, is therefore back in force with a series of sketches entitled “Ca se putsoù?” a phrase heard every day by many women.

Well, of course, in Quebec, it might be translated as “Ca va loin ça? Where are my pants? Do you have the kid’s bib? What’s her teacher’s name once more?”

When some hear that a woman is doing too much, they respond with “Well then do less, it’s okay.”

The comic clearly explains that in a heterosexual couple with a child, even if the woman decides to do less and “stay zen” with household chores, the chances are high that the man will not make up the difference and find a way to do even less by becoming a slacker. And this, often unconsciously (but not all the time).
