Heat vs. Celtics score: Live NBA playoff updates as Boston looks to even Eastern finals in Game 4 vs. Miami

The Eastern Conference finals between the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat has been a grueling series that’s taken a toll on both sides. Each team has endured multiple injuries in what’s been a physical battle through three games. The Heat hold a slight 2-1 lead following taking Game 3 in Boston to reclaim home-court advantage. The Celtics will look to bounce back and even things up Monday night in Game 4 from the TD Garden. Boston comes out swinging and leads 29-11 following a dominant first quarter.

Miami came out red hot on Saturday, thanks to strong shooting and a dominant effort from Bam Adebayo, who was quiet in the first two contests. It lost Jimmy Butler for the entire second half due to knee inflammation, yet found a way to hang on for the 109-103 win. The Celtics closed the gap to just one point late in the fourth, but mightn’t take the lead in a game where they trailed wire to wire. Jaylen Brown led all scorers with 40 points. Meanwhile, Jayson Tatum struggled mightily from the field, scoring just 10 points on 3-of-14 shooting. The Celtics will have Robert Williams III back from a sore knee, but Marcus Smart will sit with an ankle sprain.. The Heat will be without Sixth Man of the Year Tyler Herro, who’s out with a groin injury. Here’s how to watch Game 4.
