Pet welfare continues to be a priority at El Marqués – Update México

During the Animal Welfare Day that took place in El Mirador, in El Marqués, three dogs were adopted and 150 veterinary medical services were performed, in addition Pedigree and Grupo Mars donated packages for the pets of the participants.

The municipal government of El Marqués through the Municipal Animal Care Center (CAAM), offered 150 medical services, Israel Hernández Luna, head of the area, highlighted the good acceptance it had by the public.

“We are very happy with the opening of the people for this day of Animal Welfare, where we had in the El Mirador subdivision. We have very positive numbers: 150 medical services between sterilizations and vaccinations, 36 people enrolled in the EDU-CAAM program, which we are going to run for four more sessions on Sundays, and the good fortune that our three dogs found a home.”

He highlighted that for all those interested in vaccinating and sterilizing their pet, the Mobile Operating Room Unit will remain in the dog park all week for people to come to sterilize their pets.

He also said that for people who might not register for the EDU-CAAM program, they will be able to go next week to register. He finally indicated that the adoption program will be presented in various subdivisions, as well as in centers and shopping malls, so that the agent gives him an opportunity and more dogs have a home.

It is worth mentioning that through the collaboration agreement between the CAAM with Pedigree and Grupo Mars, packages for pets were provided, which were delivered to the participants of the event.
