Rapper Mad Clown (real name Jo Dong-rim) and actor Jo Hyeon-cheol’s father passed away today (the 22nd).
According to OSEN on the 22nd, Mad Clown and Jo Hyun-cheol’s father passed away following a battle with the disease. It is reported that the funeral home was set up at Asan Hospital in Seoul.
Jo Hyun-cheol is an actor and director. He directed the independent films ‘Dempsey Roll: Confessions (2014)’ and ‘Robot: Revival (2015)’ and wrote the screenplay for the movie ‘Pansori Boxer’ in 2018.
As an actor, he rose to prominence in the 2016 movie ‘Master’ as Gyeongnam. In 2017, he started appearing in small roles in dramas, and in 2019, he played the role of Sanchez in the tvN drama ‘Hotel Del Luna’, raising his awareness.
After that, he received favorable reviews for his role of Private Jo Seok-bong in Netflix’s ‘DP’ last year, and received the Best Supporting Actor Award in the TV category at the ‘2022 58th Baeksang Arts Awards’ held at the 1st Kintex Exhibition Center in Ilsan, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do on the 6th.
