Belgium has become the first country in the world to impose a mandatory quarantine on people infected with monkeypox, as the disease has spread to 14 countries around the world.
And health authorities in Belgium said, on Sunday, that people infected with monkeypox virus must self-isolate for 21 days.
This comes following 3 cases of the disease were reported in the country.
And local media reported that the injuries that were discovered were linked to a festival held in the coastal city of Antwerp last Friday.
