Al-Marsad newspaper: The late Egyptian artist, Samir Sabry, revealed the secret of his ring engraved with the word “Galala”, which he has worn permanently for 40 years.
According to Samir Sabry’s keenness to wear a ring written on it, “God willing”, he must wear it until his death, and the secret of his adherence to it until his death is due to a position that he always remembered.
In a previous interview with the Lebanese media, Raghida Shalhoub, the artist Samir Sabry explained that: “He was standing in front of the Kaaba and the pigeons were flying in the sky, and the atmosphere was calm without crowding, and while he was standing and praying while looking at the sky, an old Saudi man approached him, took off his ring and put it on.” Me and gone, and since this day he wears no one else.”
He added: “This is a ring that says “God”… This is what I’ve been wearing for 40 years… One of them came while I was in the Umrah, and I was sitting in front of the Kaaba. I was sitting alone before the dawn prayer… I mightn’t believe that I was in front of the honorable Kaaba.”
And he continued: “I met a man, a sheikh, who had been stabbed in the face and put on his feet, and since then I have been wearing it.. Hours go and I turn the world around on him and meet him.. I am very proud of him.. 40 years and I wear it.” According to “Cairo 24”
