Invictus Launch Week is an event in Star Citizen that focuses on a showcase for current and new starships, held to honor the Navy and Armed Forces across the universe and allow aerospace manufacturers to show off their new and active vehicles.
The event starts today, May 20, and ends May 31. It functions as a festival showcase within Star Citizen with various ship manufacturers displaying their wares in exhibition halls. The event is ongoing and every 48 hours different ship builders will take over the Exhibit Hall, allowing you to see new ships and featured ships. If you like what you see, you can rent it for a free trial.
Do not hesitate, because you can only rent these particular ships during their 48 hour display. There is a published schedule to guide you when needed, which can be useful if you want to try out one of the limited-quantity ships, which will be released in waves.
For those who are already active pilots, logging into the event for at least five days will earn you a Specter badge. For some, this will be their first such event.
