More than 400,000 Quebecers are without electricity due to storms and violent winds which have begun to shake part of the province.
The strong winds also caused a lot of damage in several regions of the province.
Currently, 483,947 Hydro-Québec customers are in the dark.
The Laurentians are the most affected region with 181,729 homes without electricity.
In Lanaudière, 117,711 customers are plunged into darkness.
In Outaouais, Mauricie and Montérégie, respectively 120,771, 33,939 and 15,778 homes are without power.
On the side of Montreal and Laval, Hydro-Quebec lists 1721 and 2976 breakdowns. In Centre-Du-Québec, 6,272 customers are without electricity.
Citizens reported to TVA Nouvelles several fallen trees, blocked streets and significant damage caused by bad weather.
