Amazingly, the space saga Stellaris is only six normal Earth years old. The epic space exploration strategy game has changed a lot since its journey, and to celebrate, Paradox invites everyone to try conquering the galaxy this weekend for free.
For players who have traveled among the celestial bodies of Stellaris from the very beginning, there is more good news: a fix for the most recent major update that came with the new Overlord expansion has been released today.
Game Director Stephen Muray informedthat this fix includes several improvements that were originally planned for a patch at the end of the month.
So, in version 3.4.3 there are several key updates and rebalances that address issues that players have experienced since the launch of Overlord. You can now immediately declare war on a new country when a planet rebels, instead of having to wait a while.
If an empire has a shortage of food or consumer goods, it can now buy these resources directly from the home market to cover costs.
An infinite scarcity has also been fixed: if you run out of something and then stop using that resource, the scarcity will resolve itself following a couple of months.
Until May 23, Stellaris is free to try on Steam.
