“We wonder if there was even really an investigation”

We wonder if there was even really an investigation, because if there was an investigation, we should normally know at the end of which units the bullets that killed or injured people came from. It was not a judicial investigation that there was, apparently it was a kind of administrative investigation. Then, at the end, we are told that there have been arrangements. So that’s a way of saying that we can’t punish people legally. That is really as if we were guaranteeing impunity for elements of the foreign forces. It is still very serious. We must at least know the truth, that people recognize what happened. And then we have to do justice. So it’s not a legal process, it’s a settlement process. We cannot support an arrangement process and it is really very disappointing.
