Operational at Cota 905

From the early hours of this Thursday, May 19, a police device was deployed in Cota 905 that extended to surrounding sectors such as La Vega, El Valle and El Cementerio.

The actions involve officials from the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) and the Corps of Scientific, Penal and Criminal Investigations (Cicpc). They entered those sectors due to rumors regarding the presence of members of the band of aliases Garbis and Vampi.

The current conflict stems from the events of Saturday, when a group of eight criminals threw a fragmentary grenade at the PNB headquarters in the San Miguel sector.

Two uniformed men were injured in the attack by the shrapnel. And it is presumed that it was planned by members of the Garbis and Vampi gang.
