A few weeks ago, the government announced that it would introduce “energy” and “oil” checks of €100 and €200 respectively to help households. Checks that the government has not forgotten and which should probably arrive around June and July, estimate minister in charge of the fight against poverty, Karine Lalieux (PS), and the federal deputy Ecolo Samuel Cogolati.
“I understand people’s impatience. I want to reassure the entire population: there will be a reduction of 100 euros on the electricity bill, 200 for fuel oil. I will count on active parliamentarians to speed things up. People will get their checks before the summer if Parliament works well. Distributors are readysays the minister.
