At least four houses were completely burned following a fire of three alarms, which occurred early this Wednesday in the Mott Haven area of the Bronx.
The fire It started in a house located at 420 East 143rd Street, and residents of the area assured that this same house also caught fire in October 2021.

FDNY Deputy Chief Kevin Brennan gave a press conference at the scene of the incident and said the units encountered heavy fire upon arrival, which quickly spread to the three adjoining buildings.
“We had over 33 units and over 100 Fire and EMS personnel on scene. We had a car parked at a fire hydrant that blocked it, we urge people to never park at these hydrants fire. We have a minor firefighter injury,” Brennan said.
The chief of the fire department also assured that the fire is currently under investigation.
One 130 firefighters, 20 FDNY trucks, and several police patrols were mobilized on the scene, in addition, some families in the areas had to evacuate their homes.
