In the past few days, users of social networking sites shared a picture that their publishers claim is of a pilot taking a “selfie” from the window of a plane flying in the air at risk to prove to his wife that he is at work.
The photo showed a man dressed in a pilot’s clothes and sticking his head out of the plane window to take a “selfie”, but several factors questioned the authenticity of the photo, according to Agence France-Presse.
The post attached to the photo received hundreds of sarcastic comments on the grounds that the photo is real, but in fact it is a composite.

The image shows a watermark called PilotWagner, and it indicates the account of the pilot himself, whose name is Mike Wagner.
Also, the same circulating image can be found published in the account in 2018, and was attached to the tag “Photoshop”, the famous image-editing program.
Wagner returned and explained in several comments on the photo that it was a composite.
