Several Silent Hill projects are said to be in development

There have been rumors for years regarding the possibility of new games for the horror series Silent Hill. And if so far, all have proven to be false, it may well be that the latest are more than hearsay. Thereby, according to VGCseveral Silent Hill projects are reportedly currently in development at studios around the world.

Among them, we might find a remake of the very popular Silent Hill 2, by the Polish studio Bloober Team. On the program, a reworked AI, new puzzles and several new endings. Another project would be to develop an episodic series. This time, it would be the studio Until Dawn Supermassive which would be concerned. Finally, Konami would also plan to release a sequel to the main series.

A rumor that gained importance on May 13th. Indeed, AestheticGamer – formerly known as Dusk Golem – has released some footage that is believed to be from a Silent Hill game currently in development. The images show what appears to be concept art from October 20, 2020 by Masahiro Ito, who is none other than the art director of the original Silent Hill trilogy. We can also see the face of a woman, partially torn, where messages like “I hate myself” are written. Elements that might have joined the slew of unfounded clues if they had not been directly reported by Konami for copyright violations. Report which led to the deletion of the images on the AestheticGamer twitter account. You don’t need the detective skills of Batman to connect the dots.
