Juarez City- A doctor who was arrested by means of an arrest warrant for the crimes of reckless homicide and professional and technical responsibility, asked for help through social networks, yesterday.
This is Judith Hernández, whom last Friday elements of the State Investigation Agency (AEI) filled out an arrest warrant and at the time of the execution said she felt bad and was therefore taken to the General Hospital, where she remains hospitalized.
Through the networks, she denounced that she was unfairly detained for a surgery in which she participated in 2018 and that led to the death of a patient.
After being arrested and in her hospital bed, the professional wrote “A thousand thanks to all your words of encouragement comfort my soul.
Right now in a hospital bed, with handcuffs around my wrists and guards taking care of me 24 hours a day, I pray to God that no colleague from the medical profession has to go through this.
We are not criminals, we do not deserve to be treated like this.
In my case I was going as an assistant in a surgery that had not yet started when the incident happened and following almost four years I was arrested like a criminal, leaving my office, several cars were locked up and regarding six people got off with guns, I At that moment I thought it was a kidnapping.”
The arrest was ordered by a Control Judge due to an investigation folder from the year 2018, filed by the family of a woman from El Paso, who died before a cosmetic nose operation.
