Ajax Amsterdam, crowned Dutch champions for the 36th time in their history, ended their season yesterday. Erik ten Hag can therefore devote himself since Monday morning to his new job as Manchester United coach.

And Ten Hag confirmed that he intended to rely on Cristiano Ronaldo (37) next season: “I can’t wait to work with Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo is a giant, in everything he’s shown so far and in his ambition. I want to keep him at Manchester United, of course. He’s been very important for this club and can produce great stats.”
With 24 goals, CR7 is Manchester United’s top scorer this season and spoke regarding the arrival of Ten Hag last week via the Red Devils website: “What I know regarding him is that he’s done a fantastic job for Ajax, he’s an experienced coach. But we have to give him time. Things have to change the way he wants”dropped the Portuguese.
