Egyptian Prime Minister congratulates Mohamed bin Zayed on his election as President of the UAE

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister of Egypt, sent a cable of congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, on the occasion of His Highness’s election as President of the sisterly United Arab Emirates.
In his telegram, the Egyptian Prime Minister said: “On my own behalf, and on behalf of the government of the Arab Republic of Egypt, I would like to extend to Your Highness my sincere congratulations on gaining the confidence of the Supreme Council of the Union of the Arab Emirates and your unanimous election as President of the UAE, succeeding the late, God willing. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan”.
Dr. Mostafa Madbouly added: I take this opportunity to renew to Your Highness our appreciation and pride in the brotherly and historical relations linking the Arab Republic of Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, and our confidence that during your reign they will witness further strengthening of cooperation in various fields.
The Egyptian Prime Minister concluded his telegram by addressing to God the Most High, the Almighty, to reconcile His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the State and direct his steps on the path of truth and goodness, and to perpetuate the sister Emirates, and their honorable people, stability and prosperity under his wise leadership.
