Rise in energy prices: the price for 95 exceeds 2 euros per liter for the first time

The maximum prices of gasoline will increase once more Tuesday at the pump, announced Monday the general direction Energy of the FPS Economy. The price per liter of 95 E10 will thus be up by 0.092 euros, for a maximum amount of 2.0250 euros. This is the first time that the 2 euro mark has been crossed.

The liter of 98 E10 will increase, for its part, by 0.164 euros, for a maximum price of 2.1650 euros. Again, this is a historic record. These prices result from fluctuations in the prices of petroleum products and/or the bio-components inherent in their compositions on the international markets. The war in Ukraine and its economic consequences explain the upward price trend, as does the strong demand for oil following the post-Covid recovery.
