The Health Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council has provided several tips that a person must know before buying sunglasses, especially since the difference in the color of the lenses and the cost has nothing to do with the extent of UV protection.
The council explained that these tips include choosing sunglasses that block 99% of UV rays, as well as that contain a 100% protection label once morest both UVB and UVA rays.
He advised to buy large-sized glasses and frames when possible, because the greater the coverage, the less damage the sun’s rays will have on the eyes, indicating that the polarized lenses contain a filter that protects the eyes from glare caused by the reflection of sunlight on flat surfaces.
