The Alexandrian Al-Ittihad team beat Al-Ahly with a score of 85-75, this evening, Saturday, in the fourth match of the Basketball Super League final.
The Basketball Super League final series between Al-Ahly and Al-Ittihad will be held at Hassan Mustafa Hall in 6th of October City.
Al-Ahly needed to win the fourth match once morest the leader of the gap in order to crown the Super League title, but the team failed to achieve this, so the two teams tied 2-2 in the final series.
The first match ended in favor of Al-Ittihad, with a score of 86-77, then Al-Ahly won the second confrontation with a score of 73-60, then also won the third meeting with a score of 63-60, before the leader of Al-Thaqer equalized and won the fourth match with a score of 85-75.
The two teams are thus heading to the fifth and final match, which will determine the winner of the Super League title, scheduled for next Monday, May 16th.
The Basketball Super League final series will be held using the Playoff system (Best of 5), where the winning team of three matches wins the championship title.

Al-Ittihad started the match quickly and enthusiastically and managed to take an early lead 8-2
The leader of Al-Thaghr continued his progress in the result and expanded the difference to 16-5, which made Al-Ahly coach Augusti Bosch request a time-out.
Al-Ittihad swept its Al-Ahly counterpart in the first period of the match, which ended in favor of Sayed Al-Balad, 30-11.
In the second period, Al-Ittihad’s superiority continued until the difference was increased to 35 – 13.
Al-Ittihad expanded the difference to 14 points, when the score became 43-29, and the Al-Ahly coach requested a time-out.
Al-Ittihad’s progress continued until the end of the second period of the match, which ended with a score of 47-31.
In the third period, Al-Ittihad maintained its lead and expanded the difference to 15 points, when the score was 55-40.
And the third period of the match ended with Al-Ittihad’s continuous lead over Al-Ahly with a score of 61-49.
Al-Ahly managed to reduce the difference to 9 points with the fourth period, when the score became 69-60 in favor of Al-Ittihad.
The leader of the gap returned to widen the difference to 14 points, when the result indicated 74-60.
And the red team reduced the difference to 6 points, to change the score to 77-71.
The fourth period and the match ended with the Alexandrian Al-Ittihad victory over Al-Ahly with a score of 85-75 in the fourth match of the Basketball Super League final.
