A Soviet and Russian pop singer, actor, People’s Artist of the RSFSR composer, producer, film director Renat Ibragimov died in Moscow. He was 74 years old.

“Yes, he died. It’s hard for me now, ”said Renata Ibragimova’s daughter, RIA Novosti reports.

Ibragimov was born in Lvov in 1947. The artist gained all-Union success and fame following participating in the Red Carnation song contest in Sochi in 1975, where Renat Ibragimov received the main prize.
