For an unknown reason, a man is said to have died following slipping under his vehicle, Saturday morning, in the borough of Plateau-Mont-Royal, in Montreal.
The tragic accident occurred around 10:35 a.m. at the intersection of Laurier and Mentana streets. It was thanks to a call made to 911 that the police were notified, before being dispatched to the scene of the tragedy.
They quickly began resuscitation maneuvers. The victim, a 65-year-old man, was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators went to the scene to shed light on the circumstances of the accident. A security perimeter has been erected.
