winner list
Paula Newby-Fraser’s streak of eight Ironman victories in Kona is still untouchable and maybe even a record for the ages. Chrissie Wellington now has four wins under her belt and, should she come back once more, she might at least attack the six wins of the Swiss Natascha Badmann in the next few years. Craig Alexander drew level with Canadian Peter Reid with his third win. Only Ironman icons Dave Scott and Mark Allen can boast more victories in men with six successes each. The best German is Jan Frodeno with three wins (2015/2016/2019).
