Former Lavaur FC player, Juliette Bergé will experience the final of the Women’s French Cup between PSG and Yzeure from the inside, tomorrow.
When she signed up in November 2021 as a community manager with the FFYAA (Women’s Football Yzeure Allier Auvergne) as part of civic service, Juliette Bergé did not think she would live such an adventure with the women’s D2 club. After beating TFC, Lille, Rodez and FC Nantes, the girls coached by former French international Ophélie Meilleroux will play once morest PSG of Katoto, Estelle Cascarino, Diani or Karchaoui. “This is the first time that an amateur club has reached a Coupe de France final, we will realize what we are going through when we see the PSG girls on the lawn,” said Juliette Bergé with a smile.
An incredible experience
For several days, Juliette Bergé has multiplied publications and videos on social networks showing how the girls of Yzeure are preparing for this unbalanced match on paper and which sounds like the peak of their season. “The idea is to tell behind the scenes of the preparation, including training, the excitement within the club with the movement of a thousand supporters,” says Juliette Bergé. Tomorrow, before the match, then from the edge of the lawn and following the final whistle, she will capture the atmosphere of the match with her smartphone in order to broadcast it on the club’s various communication channels. “I’m living an incredible experience. My contract ends in June, but moving to the club confirms that it’s in this environment that I want to work!”
