The delegation of the Lebanese national fencing team left for the Jordanian capital, Amman, to participate in the Mediterranean Fencing Championships scheduled for May 14 and 15. The mission consisted of Rita Abu Joudeh (chairman), national coach Mahmoud Ali Ahmed and player Ghadi Al-Shamali, who participates in the cubs (17 years and under) and juniors (20 years and under) categories of fencing, Lyn Daoud, who participates in the cubs and women’s categories of fencing. , Mia Mneimneh and Chloe Deeb, who participate in the categories of 15 years and under, and Al-Shiblat in the fencing sword.
The president and members of the Lebanese Football Federation wished the mission success, hoping that the fencing players would achieve the best results and win titles and medals, noting that the task would not be easy with the participation of large “Mediterranean” countries in the fencing such as France, Italy and Egypt.
