We will not hesitate to use nuclear in this case

On the impact of the recent escalation between Russia and the West because of Russian military operation in UkraineThe Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the United Nations, Dmitry Polyansky, threatened that his country might use nuclear weapons.

He stressed that this possibility is possible if Russia is exposed to threats to its existence, according to him.

He also continued that he was not a military man and did not have the duty to present conclusions, but that he believed that the threat of a nuclear state would not go unnoticed.

“You threatened… and you have to take it into consideration.”

He added in a statement to the newspaper “UnHerd News”, addressing his words to the West: “When you threaten a nuclear state, you have to take into account all possibilities.”

In addition, he stressed that his country possesses nuclear weapons, and in the event of any threat to its existence, he is convinced that it will not hesitate to use those weapons, as he put it.

These statements came in conjunction with the Finnish president’s call for his country to accelerate its steps to join NATO.

While Moscow renewed its warnings of the outbreak of any conflict with NATO, which has long warned of its expansion in the European East, where the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, saw that any potential conflict with NATO might lead to a nuclear war.

He stressed that NATO exercises near the Russian border increase the possibility of this conflict.

He also added, in statements transmitted by his account on Telegram, on Thursday, that NATO countries pumping weapons into Ukraine and training their forces to use Western equipment, sending mercenaries and conducting exercises near Russia’s borders, increases the possibility of a direct and open conflict between NATO and Russia instead of a proxy war. According to him.

He cautioned that such a conflict always carries the risk of turning into an all-out nuclear war, in a catastrophic scenario for all.

A nuclear wave, no advertisement

It is noteworthy that Russian President Vladimir Putin did not directly threaten to launch a nuclear attack during the last period, but he warned when he began the military operation in Ukraine on February 24, that anyone who planned Russia would face consequences that he did not face in his history, a statement that some leaders considered a threat to use nuclear weapons.

While Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stressed last week that Russia would use nuclear weapons only to counter an existential threat to it.

These developments come amid many Western fears of Russia’s use of biological, chemical or nuclear weapons during the war in Ukraine.

On the other hand, Moscow has warned more than once that the expansion of the alliance will threaten its security, which may push it to deploy nuclear weapons.
