Egypt officially requests to host the final of the African Champions League

Within the framework of cooperation and joint coordination between the Football Association and Al-Ahly Club, the Football Association sent an official letter to the Confederation of African Football, requesting that Egypt host the final of the African Champions League for the current version 2021-2022.

And the Egyptian Federation announced in a statement that following the withdrawal of the State of Senegal from the competition to host the final, and in addition to the letters sent by the Football Association to the African Union over the past days, in which they objected to assigning the final of the tournament to the State of Morocco, which violates the principle of equal opportunities.

The Confederation of African Football announced the organization of the final of the African Champions League in Morocco at the Mohammed V complex.

Al-Ahly and Moroccan Wydad are close to advancing to the final, which the Red Genie sees as a violation of the principle of equal opportunities.
