Al-Marsad newspaper: His Excellency the Mayor of Jeddah Saleh bin Ali Al-Turki issued a number of administrative decisions, which included merging a number of sub-municipalities, establishing departments, assigning and rotating employees in different positions according to the requirements of the work interest. and raise productivity.

The new decisions included assigning (A. Ahmed bin Muti Al-Hamrani, Assistant Secretary for Financial Affairs and Budget – Mr. Mutlaq Muzaff Al-Ghamdi, Assistant Secretary for Institutional Support – Eng. Aboud Dhafer Al-Qahtani as an advisor to the Secretary), and the decisions included merging the General Administration for Administrative and Financial Affairs, the General Department for Contracts and Procurement, and the Office of Achieving the vision to become (Finance and Budget Agency), establishing the Government Land Services Department to be linked to the General Department of Urban Planning, and transferring the subordination of the Trust Assets Department to the Construction Agency, in addition to transferring the affiliation of the Development Projects Department to the General Department of Institutional Support.

Structure of sub-municipalities

The decisions also included merging the municipalities of Historic Jeddah and Al-Balad to become Al-Balad Sub-Municipality, merging the municipalities of Khuzam and Al-Jamaa to become the Sub-University Municipality, and merging the municipalities of Al-Safa and Al-Matar to become the Sub-Municipality of the Airport.
