Arrived at a time when the offer of Battle Royale games was not as rich as today, and especially before Warzone, Apex Legends has managed to find a place of choice in the world of free games. Electronic Arts today shares a symbolic figure regarding the revenue generated by the game since its release.
The Juicy License of Electronic Arts
Apex Legends is doing wonderfully since in its latest financial results, Electronic Arts states that season 12 of the game has just broken a record for the highest engagement rate since the launch of the title.
Chris Suh, the company’s chief financial officer, also reported that revenue from Apex Legends was up more than 40%, surpassing the symbolic milestone of $2 billion in just three years. It must be said that the monitoring of the game by EA has been exemplary since its release with the arrival of very regular content, all with effective gameplay.
While Season 13 has just kicked off, the future of the franchise looks even brighter with the release of Apex Legends Mobile game scheduled for this Tuesday, May 17.
