The artist Assi El-Hellani is preparing to release a new song at the end of this month, entitled “Dhakt Habibi”, and he will shoot it this week. With “Al Arabiya.net”, he wished young people to carry the microphone and sing instead of weapons and violence.
Al-Hillani said at the beginning that he had finished recording most of his songs and lyrics by Ali Al-Mawla, in addition to a duet with Adel Al-Iraqi entitled “Forty fifty” written by Dia Mali and distributed by Tony Saba.
During his lyrical career, the Lebanese artist presented more than one patriotic song, most notably the song “Lebanon” from his melody and from the words of the poet Nizar Francis, and he sang for Palestine, the Emirates, Iraq and Tunisia. More than a patriotic song regarding Egypt, according to El-Hellani.
Al-Halani released more than one song in the Gulf dialect, including “Ya Naker Al-Maarouf”, which is one of his tunes, in addition to his songs in the Iraqi dialect, including “Ya Bird”, “You are my love” and all of these songs were remarkably popular, as he put it.
Al-Halani’s talent and hobby for composing coincided with the beginning of his singing career since the nineties.
Al-Halani touched on the song “Habibi” that he presented with his son Al-Waleed, through which he embodied the feelings between the father and his son. The song also included a human message that affected young people and parents alike.
He said of his daughter Marietta that she is “very talented and persistent” and advised her to stay true to her choices.
Al-Halani wished the younger generation to carry the microphone and sing instead of carrying weapons and a knife, and urged the youth to arm themselves with science, culture, awareness and knowledge.
Al-Halani revealed that his true happiness is when he is with his small family and among his loyal fans who accompanied him from the beginning until today, adding that he feels comfortable when he sees them happy.
He considered that the most important award is the public’s love and support for him, and said that he was happy with the award he recently won from the Ministry of Culture in Lebanon, which coincided with the centenary of Greater Lebanon, and it had a different taste for him.
Al-Halani mentioned that his experience in the “The Voice” program is one of the most important experiences because it brought him closer to people, and he cherishes it and considers it an important station in his life.
