AG/EBRD: Fettah holds a series of meetings

On the sidelines of her participation in the 31st General Assembly (GA) of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the Minister of Economy and Finance, Nadia Fettah, had a series of meetings with several officials, Tuesday in Marrakech,

Thus, Fettah held a meeting with the Minister of Economy and Governor of the EBRD for Moldova, Sergiu Gaibu, at the end of which the two parties expressed their desire to consolidate their mutual economic relations. In addition, the meeting between Ms. Fettah and the Minister of Treasury and Finance, Governor of the EBRD for Turkey, Nureddin Nebati, focused, in particular, on ways to promote investment and trade between the two countries. .

Subsequently, Fettah held talks with the Assistant Secretary of the Treasury of the United States of America for International Markets, Alexia Latortue. Ms. Fettah and Latortue welcomed the historic cooperation ties between Morocco and the United States of America.

In addition, the Minister of Economy and Finance met with Alice Usanase, Vice President and Head of Country Relations at Africa Finance Corporation (AFC). The two officials expressed their commitment to developing the various aspects of the Kingdom’s cooperation with this African financial institution. The meeting between Fettah and Mihály Varga, Minister of Finance of Hungary, was an opportunity to boost bilateral economic cooperation relations.

The Minister also held a meeting with Marie-Gabrielle Inechen-Fleisch, Swiss State Secretary for the Economy, reflecting a common desire to consolidate and develop their bilateral economic relations.
